8 oz of warm clean, filtered water
1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate
1 organic lemon
May I suggest that you add a teaspoon of organic honey to enhance taste.
Combine these ingredients, stir and drink. Repeat three to four times per day.
Are there any negative side effects?
YES! In most cases this remedy will have the same result as a cleanse or detoxifier. You may experience cramps, more frequent bowel movements and possible diarrhea in the early stages. (see BEWARE below)
Check Your Own pH:
pH is a measure of acidity or alkalinity. A pH of less than 7 is acidic and a pH greater than 7 is alkaline.
You can check your pH at home. The best time to check your pH is in the morning. You can purchase pH strips online, at nearly all drug stores, and most large retailers such as Walmart.
Before you brushing your teeth or drinking water, spit on a pH strip and record the reading. You can also check the pH of your urine.
Your saliva should have a pH 7 or above and your urine should have a pH between 6.4 and 6.8.
