Last week Aspen just wasn't herself, she was feeling sick and losing weight.
Diabetes type 1 is a result of the pancreas no linger producing enough insulin. It is caused by the body's immune system attacking the insulin producing cells in the pancreas. Type 1 Diabetes can show up at any age but usually it is kids and teens.
